As part of a major overhaul of the Youth Justice System in South Australia, a new 60-bed secure Youth Training Centre (YTC) is being built on a new green field’s site at Goldsborough Road, Cavan.  The new YTC will deliver a new era for youth justice in South Australia where new facilities are raised to the standards of the excellent care and rehabilitation programs that are already being delivered.  The construction phase is progressing well and is expected to be competed in mid 2012.

Lietzke Australia are currently supplying and installing the medium and high security door, barrier and window requirements for the new Cavan Youth Training Centre.  The project involves 60 cell doors, 9 high security barrier doors, 40 medium security doors and 60 external and internal windows.
